Hello all and thank you so much for your continuing patience with me on this blog. I have been so very busy between work and my new involvement with the Airdrie Legion (one of my three blogs now!).
I have several ideas for new "Toon Crew" stories and I plan to have them posted on here soon...I think a look into the job I have now would be a good starting point for explaining what I do these days.
Here's wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and all the best in 2011. I look forward to having a whole lot more to share with you soon!
Cheers!

Here's an old blast from the past
Hi again everyone...I know it has been a very slow start to this blog but I thought it would be nice to give you an old episode of the Toon Crew to enjoy. So without further ado, here is our visit to the Air Traffic Control Centre in Edmonton from a great many years ago.
I have almost all of the original episodes of the Toon Crew on tape and have converted a few to DVD. I hope to have some higher quality versions to share with you on here soon! Plus I have a few ideas for some Toon Crew adventures that I can`t wait to share with you!
BYE FOR NOW!!!

Here's what Toon Crew Kenny looks like today
Hey all!
It has been a few years so I thought you might like to see what I look like after 10 years away from the show.
This is me visiting the Mynarski Lancaster when it visited Calgary in early August. It was great to see this living piece of Canadian history. It is only one of two remaining flying Lancaster Bombers in the world.

I'M BAAAAACK!!!!!!!!
Hello one and all!
It has been more than 10 years since the last episode of The Toon Crew graced the airwaves here in Canada. Since that time the actual station (RDTV in Red Deer, Alberta) has closed and even the massive company that bought out Western International Communications (WIC, we all knew it) has since filed for bankruptcy and been bought out by Shaw Communications. Whew! That's a whole lot of changes to the broadcasting world in a short period of time!
So what have I been up to since the end of The Toon Crew? I will try and compartmentalize it a bit for you...I got my commercial pilots licence, worked in Northern Alberta in aviation for a few years, moved back to Lethbridge for about a year then back to Fort McMurray for 4 more years doing everything from driving a bus, dispatching buses, loading aircraft and managing the operations for an airline! Lots of changes in venue and occupation and a whole lot of adventures along the way. The one thing that was missing from all of this was my love of bringing interesting things to people's attention...just like I did with The Toon Crew!
So I figured that it would be nice to test the waters again and see if I could start out with this blog as an attempt to rekindle the spirit of that great era in my life when Toon Crew was front and center. I am going to see what kind of adventures we can have and attempt to capture them and share them with all of you!
There's no telling where this journey will take us but I am sure it will be fun and informative, if nothing else!
Bye for now!
